RECORDING | PRESENTATION

Join our ESMAP  webinar to learn about the key findings of the Mauritania Hydrogen Infrastructure Study.

Mauritania is well-positioned to become a global green hydrogen hub, thanks to its strategic location and abundant renewable resources. Major international developers are advancing large-scale projects that will require shared infrastructure for transport, storage, and export. The study identifies critical needs in ports, roads, and—though to a lesser extent—power grids and water supply. It proposes phased development scenarios and underscores the role of public-private partnerships and innovative financing. The expected socioeconomic benefits include job creation, economic growth, and upgraded infrastructure, alongside environmental gains from decarbonization and sustainable resource management. Achieving this potential will depend on integrated planning, clear regulations, and capacity building to ensure long-term value for Mauritania.

Come and explore how Mauritania can become a global green hydrogen hub and the essential planning and development steps needed to achieve it.
