ESMAP has supported the preparation of this MPA through grants, including contributions from the ESMAP-associated Advancing Regional Energy Projects in Southern and Eastern Africa MDTF (funded by Sida), as well as through in-kind support.
The project received US$245.8 million from IDA. It includes a US$10 million clean cooking component, co-financed by US$5 million from IDA and US$5 million from ESMAP RETF.
