Join the ESMAP webinar series on developing a national clean cooking strategy and roadmap.

In this first session, you’ll learn about the key components of a National Clean Cooking Strategy and Implementation Roadmap, with a focus on stakeholder alignment and mobilizing public-private financing. Hear directly from government representatives from Sierra Leone and Malawi as they share their experiences, complemented by private sector insights on designing effective bankable strategies.

Many governments are developing strategies to expand clean cooking access and meet SDG 7 goals. Regionally, Mission 300 is advancing, and clean cooking is a focus of National Energy Compacts, which are currently being implemented. Creating effective strategies requires a solid understanding of the country's cooking sector—market demand, affordability, supply chains, and policy frameworks.

Come and reflect on how countries can embark on developing a national clean cooking strategy and roadmap, and how ESMAP’s Clean Cooking Fund can support them throughout this journey.
