The World Bank Bank’s ESMAP - Energy Sector Management Assistance Program and the CORFO | Chilean Economic Development Agency co-hosted the second in-person Green Hydrogen for Development (H4D) Partnership on October 24-26. 2023.

The three-day event focused on the actions needed to support the nascent green hydrogen industry and the measures required to accelerate its deployment in developing countries. During the H4D Partners meeting, The World Bank’s ESMAP convened government representatives (Egypt, Japan, Brazil, and South Africa), public sector institutions, and private stakeholders (UK, Netherlands, and Germany) to share best practices and solutions to advance the green hydrogen economy.

The #H4D Partners’ meeting served as a platform to discuss key topics to accelerate hydrogen’s deployment in Chile, including: (i) shared infrastructure; (ii) socioeconomic benefits; and (iii)mobilization of private capital.
