Clean Hydrogen for Road Transportation in Developing Countries | August 28, 2025 @ 9:00am (EDT) | Open Event
RECORDING | PRESENTATION
Join us for a webinar to explore the findings of the recently launched report, Clean Hydrogen for Road Transportation in Developing Countries.
As cities in low- and middle-income countries continue to grow, they face increasing challenges related to traffic congestion and air pollution. To address these issues, many cities are considering clean mobility solutions such as battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs). This new report asses the economic feasibility of adopting hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in five countries: Brazil, Chile, India, South Africa, and the Republic of Korea.
Clean hydrogen is becoming an important part of the global transition to clean energy, offering a promising alternative to fossil fuels. As global demand for hydrogen grows, production costs are expected to decrease, which can have a spillover effect and help to simulate demand for hydrogen in the transport sector.
Come and explore how hydrogen could become a viable transport solution—and how it can support cleaner, more inclusive urban mobility.r
