ESMAP at 2025 SEforALL Global Forum in Barbados

The Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) played a pivotal role at the 2025 Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) Global Forum held in Bridgetown, Barbados on March 12-13, 2025. This landmark event brought together over 1,300 participants from more than 70 countries under the theme "Sustainable Energy for Equity, Security and Prosperity" to accelerate progress toward universal energy access and a just energy transition.

ESMAP experts contributed their expertise across several critical sessions aligned with the forum's six programming tracks, which focused on leaving no one behind, empowering the future, financing the transition, reigniting cooperation, driving ambition, and leveraging innovation.

Looking Forward: Building on Momentum

ESMAP remains committed to supporting countries in their energy transition journeys through targeted technical assistance, knowledge sharing, and innovative financing solutions. The partnerships strengthened and initiatives launched at the forum are expected to create lasting impact for energy access and clean energy transitions in the most vulnerable communities around the world.

Through continued collaboration with global, regional, and national partners, ESMAP will help translate the ambitious commitments made at the forum into tangible action on the ground, contributing to a more equitable, secure, and prosperous energy future for all.
