Powering Clean Shipping In the Power-to -X Economy: From ports to Off-takers | February 12, 2026 | 9:00 – 10:30 AM EST | Online

Recording available here. Presentations: Fueling the Future of the Global Shipping Sector and Economy | Powering green shipping: Kenya in the global power-to-x economy | Shaping the global energy transition

Join ESMAP’s (Hydrogen for Development Partnership H4D) webinar to learn how power-to-X solutions can help decarbonize maritime shipping, covering the full value chain —from ports to end off-takers.

During the session you will hear insights from two complementary reports. The first, H2Global’s From ports to offtakers: Scaling last-mile hydrogen infrastructure, identifies infrastructure gaps, risks, and deployment priorities across major import markets including Europe, Japan, and South Korea. The second, Powering Clean Shipping: Kenya in the Global Power-to-X Economy, explores Kenya’s emerging role in clean shipping fuels within the evolving international maritime regulatory framework and the country’s national decarbonization agenda.

The session aims to inform public and private stakeholders, foster dialogue on shared priorities, and mobilize coordinated action to accelerate the integration of clean fuels into global shipping value chains, strengthening both climate outcomes and long-term economic competitiveness.
